We also use your information to send you updates related to your use of the application, interactions with your content or other content that may be of interest to you. We can send you these messages by email or notifications. You can choose at any time the type of message you want to receive and by which channel from your personal space on https://app.cleep.io/profile/notifications.
Finally, in accordance with the French Data Protection Act, CLEEP does everything in its power to limit the risk of loss or misuse of your personal data.
Sharing of personal data
We may share certain information about you, such as public information like your name, profile photo and other users of the application, to ensure the proper functioning of our services.
To encourage inspiration between members, other users can also browse your profile and see your Cleeps when they are added to public lists. You can change the status of your list between "public" and "private" at any time from the list options, on the website and on the application.
Similarly, when you use some of our services involving other applications or third parties, they may have access to information about you. We may also use third party companies to help us monitor the use of the application, detect certain technical problems or the effectiveness of advertisements we may make to promote the application. This information collected by third-party applications and services is governed by the general terms and conditions and regulations of their respective owners.
Storage period for personal data
CLEEP retains your personal data for as long as necessary for the proper provision of its services, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
The data collected by cookies primarily concerns the operation of the application, and is therefore mostly treated by CLEEP as non-personal data. Cookies also allow us to measure the use of the application and its various services, and show us what could be improved.
Rectification of personal data and account deletion
Information about you as a user can be accessed and modified at any time from the CLEEP application settings.
